President's Message

Many thanks to guild members who elected me as their president for another two years!  As we look forward, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the future of art in our community. The Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild has played a vital role in promoting artistic expression and preserving traditional crafts in our area, and I am confident that we will continue to make a positive impact in the years to come.

Art has the power to inspire, educate, and bring people together. It enriches our lives, stimulates our minds, and fosters creativity and innovation. As members of the craft guild, we have a unique opportunity to contribute to the cultural fabric of our community and help shape its artistic future.

In the coming years, we will continue to focus on promoting our members' work, providing opportunities for artistic growth and development, and engaging with the community through exhibitions, workshops, and other events. We will also strive to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where artists of all backgrounds and skill levels can thrive and feel valued.

I am proud of our 54-year-old guild’s traditions and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to working together with all our members to make our community a more vibrant and creative place. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild. Together, we can create a brighter future for art in our community.

Sincerely,

Lynn Ondercin, President
