IMPORTANT DATES
RECEIVING: Sunday, December 3rd, from 10am to noon
RECEPTION: Wednesday, December 6th, from 5 to 7pm
REMOVAL: Saturday, December 30th, from 10am to noon Members of the Southwest Florida Fine Craft guild will display their work in a designated area of the gallery, near the center of the room. The guild will provide pedestals and there will be 12 two-sided panels for wall-mounted art and there is adequate space for both 3D and 2D art. Artists may enter up to 4 pieces for the $25 fee. Coco requests that artists bring wine or a snack to the reception which will be held the following Wednesday. "Distinctive Design" is a judged and juried
exhibit. Please read the prospectus carefully to be aware of all policies.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, and, and 3rd places plus two Merit awards. Contact Lynn Ondercin at lynn.ondercin@gmail.com to volunteer for Receiving,
Reception, or Removal. This will cover the participation requirement. COCO GALLERY ESTERO is open seven days a week from 11am to 5pm and is
closed the first Monday of each month for inventory purposes.
NOVEMBER 18TH GUILD MEETING
The next meeting of the Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild is November 18th. Members meet at Cape Coral Art Center in the Mixed Media Lab at 11am for socializing and networking and the formal meeting begins at 11:30am. As always, please bring a small dish, snack or drink to share. We always enjoy your goodies.
At this meeting we will be answering question about our December show at Coco, "Distinctive Design". The prospectus will be available at this meeting along with lots of information about the coming season. Don't miss it!
DON'T FORGET HOLLY DAZE!
CAPE CORAL ART CENTER holds a month long holiday sale in the store and hall gallery areas. You are required to sign up and get your vendor number in advance. Then bring your work in on November 18th or 20th.
HOLIDAY PARTY AND GIFT EXCHANGE
Each year our guild holds a festive holiday party and gift exchange at our December meeting. Members who choose to participate are asked to bring a gift wrapped piece of their own artwork to exchange. We traditionally do a "Dirty Santa" exchange where members can choose a wrapped gift from the table or "steal" a gift of another person. No gift can be stolen more than 3 times. Please bring something you are proud of and you will be rewarded with the same high quality item. We will have lots of laughs, food and drinks to celebrate the season.
